Arcanum Cyber Security Co-founder, Lawrie Abercrombie has been featured in a Goldman Sachs report following his participation in the 10,000 Small Businesses UK programme.
The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK programme operates nationally and is designed to provide high-quality, practical education and business support to leaders of high-growth small businesses and social enterprises.
Lawrie talks about why he applied for the programme and how the programme benefited himself as a leader and Arcanum Information Security as a company. He recognised that the expertise offered by the 10,000 Small Businesses mentors would create a strong foundation to take Arcanum to the next level. Since completing the programme, Arcanum’s annual turnover has tripled.
Lawrie said:
“10,000 Small Businesses UK taught me how to ask the right questions and to identify the skills gaps within my team. By removing myself from the day-to-day of my business, I could reflect on where I wanted to take my business and the people I needed beside me.”
