Marie Caruso, Arcanum Sales & Marketing Manager and Chris Gausden, Arcanum Principal Consultant attended the 2022 Space Wales Conference in Cardiff on Thursday 3rd of March.
The Space Wales Conference was organised in partnership with the MOD/UK Space Command, to focus on the opportunities presented by the Defence Space Strategy, which launched in February 2022. The Defence Space Strategy outlines a range of essential measures required to address the challenges to the security of the nation, through the space domain.
Arcanum were invited as guest speakers to talk on cyber security issues associated with space operations. Marie Caruso, who is the Cyber Lead for Space Wales introduced Arcanum and our capabilities with a focus on Operational Technology (OT). Chris Gausden, who has a wealth of experience within the satellite industry, spoke about issues such as the assets to be protected, the threat, and then explored cyber security services to counter the threat.
The Space Wales Conference was a great opportunity for Arcanum to discuss the challenges and opportunities in detail with other businesses, academia, and military communities.
